2005 was a busy year for theOracleboy.
Kicking off with airplay on XFM for the demo version of “Levitate”
the band began a relentless gigging schedule that saw them play
on stages across London and the South East including The Marquee
Club, The Underworld, Islington Academy and The Clapham Grand. As
the gigs mounted up so did the buzz around the band and in August
2005 they were given a feature in Spill Magazine as well as a place
on their prestigious covermount CD. Rounding off the year with air
play on prime time Channel 4 theOracleboy were quickly signed to
Worst Case Scenario. And ‘Clovers’ was recorded in a
church in Peterborough!
